NimbusVPN ("we", "us", "our") provides a VPN application for Android devices. This policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and your choices.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the NimbusVPN Android app and NimbusVPN backend API and VPN infrastructure used by the app.
2. Data We Process
To provide VPN service, the app may send a generated app-specific device identifier, selected server ID, and selected protocol.
Our backend and hosting providers may process technical request metadata for security and operations.

- basic infrastructure logs for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and diagnostics
- device ID to server mapping and generated configuration references
3. Analytics and Diagnostics
NimbusVPN uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, and Meta App Events.
These services may process device/app identifiers and event data according to their own privacy policies.
4. VPN Traffic Handling
NimbusVPN routes traffic through encrypted VPN tunnels using XRay/VLESS or WireGuard.
We do not intentionally inspect or profile browsing content for advertising purposes.
5. Why We Process Data
We process data to provide and secure service, improve reliability, and maintain service integrity.

6. Third-Party Processors
NimbusVPN uses third-party providers including Firebase, Meta, and Google Play services. Their processing is governed by their own policies.

7. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We share limited technical or analytics data with listed providers only to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the service.
8. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide service, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations.
Some data may remain in backups for a limited period.
9. Security
NimbusVPN uses industry-standard transport security and VPN protocols to protect data in transit.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but safeguards are continuously improved.

NimbusVPN may request Android permissions required for VPN operation and split tunneling.

11. Children's Privacy
NimbusVPN is not directed to children under the age required by local law.
If you believe a child provided data in violation of law, contact us for review.
12. Your Rights and Requests
You may request privacy assistance at legal@nimbusvpn.tech.
Because NimbusVPN uses technical identifiers, include your app Device ID when available to help locate records.
13. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time.
The latest version is published at the policy URL with a revised last updated date.
